国外二语词汇习得研究趋势的可视化分析——基于社会网络分析方法 于涵静 戴炜栋

提要:为深入了解国外二语词汇习得研究的发展趋势,本研究借助引文索引数据库“Web of Science”和信息可视化技术,对1980—2015年国际知名学术期刊的相关论文及其关键词进行了分析。研究结果显示:(1)二语词汇习得研究的视角具有多元化、跨学科特点,与社会文化理论、认知互动理论、心理语言学理论等相结合;(2)研究内容不断拓展与深化,主要涵盖词汇学习策略、词汇知识广度与深度、词汇附带习得、词汇与其他二语技能的关系等;(3)研究方法从量化、质化研究发展到量化与质化研究相结合。本研究结果对我国外语教学特别是词汇教学具有一定启示作用。

Abstract: Using the Web of Science and information visualization skills, this study analyses the relevant papers published in the high-ranking international linguistic journals from 1980 to 2015, with a view to probing into the developments of the research abroad on second language vocabulary acquisition. The study shows that: (1) the research perspectives are diversified and interdisciplinary with the application of the sociocultural theory, interactionist cognitive theory, and psycholinguistic theory; (2) the main research areas cover vocabulary learning strategies, breadth and depth of vocabulary knowledge, incidental vocabulary acquisition, the relationship between vocabulary and such language skills as listening, reading, and writing; (3) the research methods include quantitative, qualitative and mixed research. The findings from the study may have implications for foreign language teaching, specifically vocabulary teaching in China.
